March 3rd

So I typed all this out yesterday, and was just about done…then my computer died! Tough Luck huh!!! Oh well…

Take TWO!!…ACTION!!

So I started the day by working from 9-2… the reason I mention working is because my job can get pretty fast paced and i’m usually on my feet all day, so it can get me sweatin’ sometimes…

After, I went to subway and had a 6” pastrami with lettuce and onions….now you guys know I don’t do subs, especially with lettuce and onions, so this alone is a huge step for me…maybe I see a salad in the near future….

Planned on going to the gym afterwards, but forgot to get the key from Gloria… I wanted to walk or jog my block, but it was snowing…so I promised myself I’d workout harder after school….

At school, I was feeling a little soft, so i had to get something too eat… figured i could have 4 chicken strips with a little bit of ranch since i was going to work out anyway…

At about 8 pm, Gloria, Ian, and I headead over to the gym…

On monday, I biked for 5 minutes, ran the TM for 5 minutes, did the elliptical for 5 minutes, and ran the TM again for 5 minutes… then went to free weights for about 20 minutes…

Yesterday, I wanted to be a little more focused and organized….

I ran the TM for 20 minutes…which measured out to be about a mile and half or so…

Next, Ian and I hit the freeweights….

Shoulder Pyramids: 1 set of 10 reps with 15 lbs….1 set/15 reps/10 lbs….1/20/5 (thats how i’m gonna abbreviate it, set/rep/lbs)

Arni Shrugs: 1/10/15…..1/15/10…..1/20/5

Shoulder Press: 1/10/15….1/15/10….1/20/5

Face Down Crosses: 1/8/15

Jackknives: 1/30

FInished the day with some pancit canton and hot dogs..little known fact: you must eat a least a small portion after working out…your muscles need it and it will help speed your metabolism….

That concluded my 2nd day at the gym…So far, it feels really good…. I want to work on my running and breathing more… keep focused on isolating certain parts of my body….
I need to start calorie counting…

Today, I want to up my running to at least 2 miles…. stay on the free weights and keep toning up… work more on my core… and continue dieting…

Thursday….I REST….
